Jim Tan

Jim Tan is a seasoned leader in business development with extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Business Development for Commercial Vehicles and Trucking at Aeva, Jim has a proven track record in securing exclusive contracts with leading vehicle OEMs. Previous roles include Director of Business Development at WABCO, where Jim developed ADAS strategies and led initiatives for L4 autonomous vehicles, and Vice President for APAC at Novariant, Inc., achieving a dominant market position in precision steering systems. Jim's career also includes significant positions at Ikanos Communications, Infineon Technologies, Sisilk, AMD, Compaq Computer Corporation, and Texas Instruments. Jim holds an MBA from SMU Cox School of Business, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University, and has completed continuing studies in Autonomous and Connected Technologies at Stanford University.
