Sean Smith

Sean Smith is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on verification methodology and semiconductor technology. Currently serving as Manager of CAD and Design Verification Methodology at Aeva since June 2021, Sean also leads Front End Methodology initiatives. Previous positions include Verification Dude at Esperanto Technologies, Inc. and Intel Corporation, and Verification Architect at Soft Machines, contributing to the advancement of verification practices. Sean has held key roles at organizations like Adapt-IP, Juniper Networks, Denali Software, Cisco Systems, and IBM, featuring expertise in ASIC verification, technical direction for verification products, and software development innovations. Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University.
