Simon Prochazka

Simon P. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Simon is currently working as a Site Reliability Engineer at AiFi Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this, Simon founded their own company called aevea OÜ in September 2019. In addition, they have worked as a Site Reliability Engineer and Tech Lead at Capchase from July 2020 to May 2022, and as a Full Stack Engineer at productboard from March 2020 to July 2020.

Before joining Capchase and productboard, Simon worked at Kiwi.com, where they held multiple roles such as Technical Team Lead and Senior Frontend Developer. As a Technical Team Lead, Simon led a Go Team and was responsible for developing an authorization app to unify internal authorization across Kiwi.com's microservice-oriented architecture. Simon also led a JavaScript-oriented team covering multiple internal projects for customer support. Prior to that, Simon worked as a Senior Frontend Developer on an internal app handling bookings.

Simon has also gained experience in different roles. Simon worked as a Protocol Assistant at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival from July 2007 to July 2018. Additionally, they worked at ACTUM Digital as a Full Stack Developer and Frontend Developer, where they built an Exchange Web Service connector server and served routes as a REST API using Node.js and Express.js.

Simon's early work experience includes working as a Frontend Developer at Shark Software s.r.o., and as a Web Developer/Animator in freelance roles. In their freelance role, they were involved in repairing and providing consultations regarding hardware and software, front-end web development, animation, CMS templating, plug-in development, and video editing. Simon also briefly worked as an Animator at LaTaupe.

Simon P. earned their International Baccalaureate degree from the English International School in Prague, where they attended from 2007 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Bsc in LLB from the University of Hertfordshire in 2011. In addition to their formal education, Simon received certification as an Apple Certified Pro in Final Cut Pro X, Level One from Apple in December 2012.
