Mark Broome

Mark Broome has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mark'smost recent role is as the SVP Head of Professional Services at AEVI, a payments platform company. In this role, Mark is responsible for scaling and growing teams, optimizing delivery approaches, and leading various functions such as project and program management, business analysis, QA, and development. Prior to AEVI, Mark worked at Hitachi Vantara as a Programme Director, leading and empowering high-performing agile teams on end-to-end professional services projects. Before that, they served as a Digital Delivery/Transformation Consultant at AIB, where they managed the technical delivery of a large enterprise-scale agile solution. Mark also has experience working at companies like Citi, KANA Software, Energia, Moy Park, Ulster University, KAM NI LTD, and Auric Business Solutions, where they held various roles in project management, software development, and technical consulting. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Mark Broome completed their education in a chronological manner as follows:

From 2003 to 2005, they attended Ulster University and obtained an AB in Computer Science, focusing on the field of Computer Science.

Between 2009 and 2012, Mark continued their studies at Ulster University and achieved a BSc in Computing and Information Systems (PT), with a emphasis on Computing and Business.

In 2015 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Leicester.

In December 2017, Mark obtained a certification as a Prince II Practitioner from APMG International.

Mark expanded their knowledge in Management and Leadership and earned a diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership - Diploma Level 7 from the Chartered Management Institute in 2017-2018.

In September 2007, they completed the FIRST LINE MANAGEMENT - Level 3 certification from ILM.

Currently, Mark is working towards obtaining the CIMA Professional degree in Accounting and Finance from CIMA, which they are expected to complete between 2020 and 2022.
