Mike Camerling

Mike Camerling has held various roles throughout their career. Mike started as an Operations Director at Codim Interactive Media CV in 1994 and worked there until 1999. Mike then moved on to Unipower Solutions as an Operations/Development Director from 1999 to 2002. In 2002, they co-founded Multichannel Retail Ltd and served as the Chief Operating Officer until 2003 when it was transformed into MCRL under the Pironet-NDH AG Group.

From 2003 to 2005, Camerling worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Pironet NDH - MCRL before becoming the VP of International Business Development at Pironet NDH from 2005 to 2009. Mike then served as a Member of the Executive Board at Pironet NDH - SA2 Worldsync from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, Camerling joined Wincor Nixdorf as the Regional Practice Lead for Store Solutions until 2013 when they became the Product Director AEVI and Chief Boundary Pusher. During their time at Wincor Nixdorf, they worked on developing a proposition for both retail and banking, transforming in-store customer interaction and integrating online retailing and secure payments.

In 2015, Camerling joined AEVI as the Director of Business Line Marketplace & Albert, where they led and managed teams developing and commercializing their global ECO system for the next generation payment services. Mike later became the CEO of AEVI in 2017.

Throughout their career, Camerling has been involved in various aspects of the technology and retail industries, with a focus on payments and customer experience.

Mike Camerling attended Maurick College from 1985 to 1990, where they obtained a HAVO degree in Secondary School education. Following this, from 1990 to 1991, they pursued an Air Traffic Control Officer degree in the field of study of the Royal Netherlands Air Force at EMOO 90-1.
