Tomáš Bublík

Tomáš Bublík has a diverse and extensive work experience. Tomáš started their career in 2005 as a Software Developer at E-Invent, where they worked until 2011. During their student years, they also volunteered as a Web Servers Administrator at Silicon Hill, managing Unix-based web servers.

In 2009, Tomáš joined the College of Information Management and Business Administration as a Member of the Department of Informatics, where they lectured on topics such as UML, Design Patterns, and ORM until 2015.

In 2010, they joined Wincor Nixdorf as a Software Engineer and later became a Team Lead. Tomáš worked on various projects, including the development of an ICM solution for Deutsche Bahn and Shell GA, and an Android-based payment terminal for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Tomáš used technologies such as GlassFish application server, Java, Oracle database server, and Python.

From 2015 to 2017, Tomáš worked as a Software Engineer at AEVI International, focusing on the development of the Albert device, an Android-based multifunctional tablet for secure cashless payments.

In 2018, they joined DataLite, spol. s r.o. as a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead, leading multiple web-oriented projects using technologies such as Gradle, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Angular. Tomáš also gained experience with Kubernetes and CD/CI workflows.

Tomáš worked as a Freelancer from 2017, taking on various projects related to Android, IoT, JavaScript, and C++ development, particularly in the finance and payment services sector.

Tomáš'smost recent role is at Aevi, where they started in 2019 as a Product Delivery Manager, providing technical leadership and planning deliveries for the central payment cloud-based platform development team. In 2022, they were promoted to Head of Software Service Development.

Tomáš Bublík began their education at Czech Technical University in Prague in 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering in Economics. Tomáš successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2008 and continued their education at the same institution. From 2008 to 2010, they obtained a Master's degree, known as "Ing.", in Software Engineering in Economics.

Tomáš Bublík's pursuit of knowledge did not end there, as they embarked on a further academic journey. From 2010 to 2015, they pursued a PhD at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Tomáš'sarea of specialization during their doctoral studies was "Programmable Recognition of Java Source Code Patterns." During this time, they conducted research and contributed to the advancement of knowledge in this field.
