Ben Smith is an Associate Architect at Aew Architects since April 2021, specializing in student accommodation schemes and overseeing projects from planning to mobilization while achieving BIM Level 2 standards. Prior to this, Ben held architect positions at Sheppard Robson and PRP Architects, and worked as an Architectural Assistant Part II and BIM Co-ordinator at GWP Architecture, where responsibilities included updating BIM protocols. Earlier experience includes contributions to significant projects such as 161 Castlereagh Street at Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp and NHS Lift schemes at Seymour Harris Architecture. Ben holds a Post Graduate Diploma and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Leeds Beckett University and a BTEC National Diploma in Foundation Art and Design from Shrewsbury College of Art and Technology.
