J.T. Straub is a Director of the firm and oversees AEW’s securities team in Boston, London and Singapore. He is also a member of the firm’s Risk Management Committee. Mr. Straub brings over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Principal at CBRE Clarion Securities, where his responsibilities included institutional client coverage, consultant relations and product solutions. He is active within the real estate community and is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), the Defined Contribution Real Estate Council (DCREC) and the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA). Mr. Straub is a graduate of Connecticut College where he earned a B.A. in economics with distinction and government. He holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
