Ben Hua

Ben Hua currently serves as Vice President of Operations & Business Development at AEye, Inc., a company specializing in advanced perception systems for autonomous vehicles, a role held since January 2021. Prior to AEye, Ben held the position of Vice President of Global Marketing at O-Net Technologies, a leading supplier of optical communication devices, from October 2011 to January 2021. Ben's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Product Line Manager at Lumentum, which produces high-performance commercial lasers, and as Sr. Director at JDSU, known for its optical communications products. Ben holds a PhD in Physics from Shanghai JiaoTong University, has been a Visiting Researcher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at UC Irvine, and completed post-doctoral research in Telecom at the University of Alberta.
