Matt Yates

Matt Yates is a Lead Data Scientist at AF - Group, where they focus on enhancing in-house web applications and developing intelligent document processing pipelines. Previously, they served as a Senior Data Scientist II and led machine learning engineering efforts in various roles at different companies, including Farmers Insurance, where they implemented predictive analytics to analyze telematics programs. Matt holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics from the University of South Carolina-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a Statistics Concentration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. They actively engage in continuous self-education and contribute to the data science community through writing and corporate training.
