Niek Hoitink

Niek Hoitink is an HRM/payroll consultant at AFAS Software, where responsibilities include onboarding new clients and optimizing existing client use of the software. Previously, Niek completed a two-year traineeship at AFAS, focusing on software implementation and optimization. In addition, Niek serves as the host of the podcast "Alpacast," discussing mental fitness topics with co-host Iris to raise awareness among youth. As a board member of the Leader of Life Foundation, Niek contributes to empowering young adults to take leadership roles in their lives through events featuring inspiring speakers and workshops. Previous roles include back office support at DESTIL, part-time consultant for Forward·Inc, and various positions at ABN AMRO MeesPierson and AIESEC, where Niek gained experience in crisis management, team management, and project management. Niek holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management with an entrepreneurship track from Tilburg University, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration and additional educational experiences from McMaster University and 't Atrium.
