Jon Peeples, MD

Jon Peeples, MD has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Jon is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Affect Therapeutics since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as the Interim Chief of Behavioral Health Service from January 2022 to April 2022, and as the Chief of Psychiatric Services from April 2021 to April 2022. Before that, they held roles at Groups Recover Together, first as a Consultant from August 2019 to April 2021, and then as the National Medical Director from June 2018 to July 2019. Jon also worked at Wellstar Health System as the Medical Director of Telepsychiatry from April 2020 to March 2021, and as a Psychiatrist from August 2017 to April 2020. Jon started their career as a Resident Physician at Emory University School of Medicine from July 2015 to June 2017, and at Dartmouth-Hitchcock from June 2013 to June 2015.

Jon Peeples, MD, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Mississippi, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued their medical education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, completing their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from 2009 to 2013. Recently, they enrolled at Gonzaga University, where they are expected to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2021 to 2023.
