Marko Becir

Marko Becir, PE, graduated from the University of Belgrade School of Mechanical Engineering with a degree in Thermal Engineering. After coming to the US in December of 2000, he started his career in consulting engineering, working for other national firms on a variety of project types in higher education, healthcare, master planning and infrastructure, and commercial markets.

Marko joined AEI’s Pasadena office from its inception in February, 2015, and is an integral part of the office’s growth over the years. Marko’s role required him to take on several, sometimes simultaneous, functions including mentoring, engineering, project management, business development, mechanical group leadership, and office leadership. Marko works on projects in Science and Technology, Healthcare and Higher Education markets, ranging from planning to renovation, to the design of new buildings. Along the way, Marko built and developed relationships with clients such as UCLA, USC, Cedar Sinai, City of Hope, Children’s Hospital of Orange County and architectural partners including CO Architects, HDR, ZGF, Pfeiffer Architects, Cannon, and many others.
