Stephen E. Watson

Stephen E. Watson, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering psychology and human capital strategy. Currently serving as the Sole Proprietor of SE Watson Medical Technologies and the Owner of Affinity Associates LLC since October 2020, Watson also held the role of Senior Science Advisor at the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Force Education and Training from June 2019 to October 2020. Prior to that, Watson was the Head of Navy Testing Sciences and Director of Selection and Classification for the US Navy from August 2005 to October 2020. Watson holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has pursued various advanced certifications in business process reengineering, manpower planning, human resource modeling, and rational analysis. Additionally, Watson is an Honor Graduate of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion and Engineering School.
