Amy Palka

Amy Palka has a long and varied work experience. Amy began their career in 1990 as a Glass Bottom Boat Captain at Silver Springs State Park, where they were responsible for taking passengers on narrated tours of the Silver River. In 1991, they worked as an Editorial Assistant at Colorado State University, and also worked as a Restoration Ecology in RMNP, hiking 12-16 miles a day in the name of science. In 1994, they were an HR Manager at Argent International. From 1997 to 2011, they were the Principal Consultant at Raven Writing & Consulting (RWC). In 2011, they became a Global Business Partner at Eslite - Managed Learning Solutions, providing managed learning services, strategic consulting, and custom content and curricula for multi-national companies. From 2002 to 2014, they were a Senior Vice President and Vice President at Ardent Learning, leading a team of professional wizards in blended multi-media instructional design and delivery, facilitation and moderation, behavior change, human systems ecology, and organization development. Finally, in 2015, Amy became the Owner & CEO of Affinity Enterprises LLC, offering best-in-class hardware manufacturers, software and service providers to offer only highest quality products and solutions tailored to their customers' business needs.

Amy Palka's education history includes a Masters degree in Career and HR Development from Rochester Institute of Technology which they obtained in 2001. Amy also obtained a BS in Wildlife Biology and Conservation Biology from Colorado State University in 1994. Prior to that, they attended the University of Florida from 1989 to 1991, studying Anthropology and Political Science. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Intel Corporation in Cloud Infrastructure, High Performance Computing, and Selling IoT Solutions, and is a SPHR from the Society for Human Resources Management.
