Brian Peterson

Brian Peterson is the Director of Product Design at Affirm, overseeing experience design teams focused on consumer engagement, shopping, and the Affirm card since December 2019. Prior to this role, Brian served as a Sr Product Design Manager, leading design teams for checkout, partnerships, and the Affirm card, and as a Product Design Manager for the merchant experience and checkout design teams. Brian's experience also includes roles as a Curriculum Advisor and Mentor at V School, an Associate Design Director and Product Design Lead at Funsize, and various positions at Iron Cobra, where artistic pursuits included creating art and music during sabbaticals. Earlier career highlights feature a position as Product & Frontend Designer at StarsDraft by PokerStars and freelance visual design work with Iron Cobra. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drawing from Illinois State University.
