Elizabeth Corbett

Elizabeth (Eli) Corbett serves as the VP and Deputy General Counsel for Product, Regulatory, and Privacy at Affirm since February 2023. Prior to this role, Corbett was the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Petal from March 2021 to February 2023. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy General Counsel and SVP of Compliance at SECU, Counsel at Alston & Bird, and various positions at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), including Acting Chief of Staff. Earlier in the career, Corbett was an Assistant United States Attorney and an Associate at JONES DAY® specializing in Corporate Criminal Investigations. Corbett began the professional journey as a Paralegal Specialist in the United States Attorneys' Offices. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in International Business from Wright State University.
