John Pitts

John Pitts is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations, public policy, and social impact. Currently serving as Vice President at Affirm since October 2025, John previously held key positions at Plaid, including Head of Industry Relations and Digital Trust and Head of Policy, where John supported the mission to empower innovators in the financial system. Prior to Plaid, John worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as Deputy Assistant Director and Attorney Advisor, focusing on intergovernmental affairs. John's career began at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP as a Managing Associate. John holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and an A.B. in Political Science from Kenyon College.
