Karthik Ramkumar

Karthik Ramkumar is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and analytics, currently serving as the Head of Risk at Affirm, Inc. since March 2019. Karthik oversees all financial risk aspects, leading a team of 80 in areas including consumer credit and fraud, while also playing a pivotal role in credit management and portfolio monitoring. Prior to Affirm, Karthik held senior positions at Credit Karma and ZestFinance, where contributions included enhancing revenue through targeted offers and influencing strategic direction through data-driven insights. Karthik has also shared knowledge as a lecturer at the University of California, Davis, and previously taught at UCLA. Karthik holds a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD.
