Kat Novoa is an experienced fraud operations specialist currently employed at Affirm, Inc., where responsibilities include managing fraud prevention initiatives and improving financial product reliability. Previously, Kat held various roles at Marriott International, leading a team to reduce loyalty fraud and recover significant funds, and at Indeed.com, where contributions included developing training programs and enhancing fraud investigation processes. Beginning a professional journey as a NASA Space Grant Fellow and an intern at the Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute, Kat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Astrophysics from Arizona State University.
