Matt Hines is an accomplished analytics professional with a solid background in economic modeling and risk analytics. Currently serving as Analytics Lead at Affirm since January 2024, Matt previously held the position of Director of Credit and Investor Analytics at Upgrade, Inc. from August 2022 to January 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Happy Money as Senior Manager and Manager of Analytics, as well as multiple positions at Fannie Mae spanning from Junior to Principal Economic Model Analyst. Matt earned a Master of Science in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland.
