Mingyu Zhang

Mingyu Zhang is a Senior Product Design Manager at Affirm, leading the App and Card Experience design team within the Direct-to-Consumer organization since March 2019. Prior to this role, Mingyu held several positions at UserZoom from July 2017 to March 2019, including Senior Staff Product Designer and Product Designer, while successfully leading the design of an automated recruiting project. Mingyu also has experience in academia as an Associate Instructor of Interaction Design Practice at Indiana University Bloomington, mentoring graduate students on user experience design projects. Additional experience includes a Product Design Internship at DiDi, where optimization of payment experiences was achieved, and an Interaction Design & Development Internship at Tsinghua University, focused on creating a communication system for ALS patients. Mingyu holds a Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Beihang University.
