Nitesh Kumar

Nitesh Kumar is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in machine learning, data science, and engineering management. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Affirm since May 2016, Nitesh leads key engineering functions related to machine learning, consumer credit, and merchant pricing. Prior roles include Team Lead and Manager of Data Science at Skytree, where Nitesh identified and solved business problems through machine learning, and Data Scientist at Autotegrity, where mathematical models for predicting user behavior and revenue were developed. Nitesh also holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Merced, and possesses a background in mechanical engineering and computational statistics.
