Qing Han

Qing Han is an experienced professional in machine learning and anti-fraud solutions, currently working at Affirm in Fraud Model Risk Management since July 2025. Prior to this role, Qing Han served as the Manager of Anti-Fraud Machine Learning and Decision Science at DataVisor from September 2019 to July 2025, as well as a Research Scientist, focusing on AI applications for fraud detection. Qing Han's earlier career includes a position as a Sr. Process Engineer at Applied Materials, where work involved the R&D of selective dry etch products, and extensive research at both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Tsinghua University, where significant contributions were made in medical device development and protein research. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Biotechnology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with an MS and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering, respectively, from Tsinghua University.
