AFFIRMATIVE ATHLETICS is a non-profit, rehabilitative and restorative justice program that affirms Los Angeles incarcerated, gang-affiliated, at-promise youth through weekly cognitive journal writing & reading centered around organized sports leagues for their mental & emotional development.

OUR MISSION is to empower at-promise, justice-involved youth through reading, journal writing and organized sports leagues. We advance youth development through social and emotional learning, building interpersonal relationships and facilitating positive community engagement with the goal of reducing young people's involvement with the criminal justice system.
