Founded in 2013, Afflux Consulting specialises in providing expert solutions, advice, and knowledge for all areas of stormwater management.

Lead by former Stormwater Victoria presidents Chris Beardshaw (Fellow) and Andrew Allan (CPEng); our exceptionally skilled team of professionals have over 75 years combined experience in Australia and overseas. Afflux Consulting are considered to be leaders in industry, committed to innovative and diverse solutions and outcomes for our clients.

The team has vast and extensive experiences working in flood modelling, stormwater management, WSUD asset design, waterway management, and a multitude of other areas within the stormwater management industry.

At Afflux, we believe that an independent, specialist company can offer a more efficient and timely solution compared to larger, multidisciplinary consultancies; through collaboration with like-minded practitioners from various fields, we are able to provide expert opinions and solutions in an efficient manor saving both our clients and authorities unnecessary time and expense.
