Michael Herskovich

Michael Herskovich is the Global Head of Stewardship at BNP Paribas Asset Management, where they have worked since 2008, focusing on the development and implementation of the firm's stewardship policy and Global Sustainability Strategy. Currently serving as the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at the International Corporate Governance Network and as Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee at the French Association of Asset Managers, Michael is recognized for their influence in sustainability finance, being named one of the "Fifty Most Influential in Sustainable Finance" by Financial News in 2022. They previously worked as a jurist, managing proxy voting for the Fonds de Reserve des Retraites. Michael graduated with a Master’s degree in Corporate and Business Law from Université Paris XI and is currently pursuing a PhD in Shareholder Engagement at the same institution.
