Afghanistan Future Scholars (AFS) was founded in 2022 by a group of talented and educated young Afghan girls and boys who recognized the urgent need to address the educational disparities faced by Afghan girls. Operating as a nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonsectarian, and nongovernmental organization, AFS is dedicated to fostering a brighter future for Afghanistan by empowering its young women through education.

Since its inception, AFS has been focused on providing innovative and high-quality online educational programs tailored to meet the unique needs of Afghan girls. By leveraging technology, AFS strives to overcome the barriers imposed by socio-political challenges, ensuring that even the most marginalized girls have access to quality education. The organization collaborates with local and international partners to deliver a curriculum that not only covers traditional academic subjects but also equips girls with critical thinking, leadership, and life skills.
