Paul Wright

Paul Wright is the current Chief Financial Officer at AFH. Prior to this, they were the Director at Oxford United Football Club from July 2013 to July 2014, where they were responsible for the financial, legal, and operational functions of the professional football club. Paul restructured the club to support the youth development and 1st team objectives within the financial and operational constraints of the business. In June 2014, they sold a controlling stake in the club to bring in additional equity investment alongside the existing ownership.

From August 2008 to April 2013, Wright was the Chief Financial Officer at WorkPlace Systems, an AIM listed International SaaS company that operated in EMEA, North America, Asia Pacific, and Australia. The company was taken private in 2011 following a Public to Private MBO at 27 times EBIT financed by Lloyds Development Capital. During their time as CFO, Wright increased and realized 500% increase in Shareholder value from 2008 to 2011. This was achieved after managing the transformation of Workplace from a traditional software company to an international SaaS provider through acquisition and internal restructuring.

Wright also served as a Non Executive Director at Harlequins Rugby League from January 2006 to December 2010.

They are on a team with Austin Broad - Group Head, Advice, Jon Dear - Chief Operating Officer, and Michelle Lavoipierre - Administration Support Manager. Paul Wright reports to Alan Hudson, CEO.
