Bobby Thomas

Bobby Thomas is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Sr. Manager of U.S. Risk Management at Aflac since October 2014. In this role, Bobby oversees execution of Enterprise and Operational Risk Management programs for the U.S. business segment and has previously fulfilled key positions including Manager of Operational Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management Consultant. Bobby's career began at Columbus Bank & Trust Company, progressing through various roles including Affinity Risk Officer and Management Associate, before moving to Synovus where significant contributions included developing an Enterprise-wide Risk Assessment Framework. Bobby holds a BBA in Marketing from Columbus State University and furthered risk management expertise at the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
