Danny Prater

Danny Prater, MBA, serves as President of Thoroughbred Business Group since May 2012, where expertise includes group and individual insurance consulting, developing training programs, and collaborating with brokers in the voluntary benefit sector. In addition to this role, Danny Prater has been a Life and Health Licensed Consultant with Thoroughbred Business Group since February 2018 and an Associate at Colonial Life since August 2013, focusing on benefit consulting for businesses. As an Associate with Aflac since May 2002, and a retired Major from the US Army Kentucky Army National Guard, Danny Prater has extensive experience in operations, training, and recruiting. Additionally, Prater contributed to academia as Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of Pikeville from April 2009 to April 2012. Danny Prater holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pikeville and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology from DeVry University.
