Fred Simard

Fred Simard is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent insurance companies. Currently serving as EVP Chief Financial Officer and COO at Aflac since September 2023, Fred previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at NALH GE company from March 2022 to January 2023. Prior to this, Fred was CFO and Chief Actuary for Group Business at Guardian Life from December 2018 to March 2022, and CFO for the National Account Segment at MetLife for over thirteen years. Throughout a notable career, Fred has managed significant revenue streams in Group Disability and other product lines, supported by a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval.
