Ryan Armstrong

Ryan Armstrong serves as Vice President at Aflac since April 2011, overseeing Corporate Secretariat, Investor Relations, and Subsidiary Management for Aflac Japan. Prior roles at Aflac include General Manager of the Corporate Secretariat Department and various director positions in Governmental Affairs and Corporate Services. Ryan's experience with the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan spans from Associate Director for External Affairs to Government Affairs Manager. Further experience includes management roles at JAIMS, the ACCJ, Orbis, and positions in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. Ryan holds a BA in East-Asian Studies from Colgate University, a Graduate Diploma in International Business from JAIMS, and an MBA from the University of Hawai‘i.
