Steven Smyth

Steven Smyth is an accomplished security and communication professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an SSO, CSSM, and CPO at Aflac since April 2013, Steven specializes in executive and asset protection while also overseeing event security and access management. Notable achievements include receiving the 2013 Facilities Support Award for Excellence. In addition to security roles, Steven contributes as a correspondent for Brick Journal, focusing on LEGO Star Wars content, and serves as the administrator for BanthaBricks.com, the largest LEGO Star Wars fan group on Facebook. Previous positions include Chief of Security at Securitas Security Services USA, where Steven progressed from an entry-level officer, and President of Nuclear Tiger Entertainment and Speed Hawaii Online Magazine. Steven holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Remington College and various certifications related to security and emergency management.
