Ben Pott

Ben Pott is the Managing Director and International Head of Public Policy and Government Affairs at BNY, a position held since 2019. Prior to this, they were the Group Head of Government Affairs at NEX Group plc from 2014 to 2019 and served as a Policy Expert at the European Banking Authority from 2012 to 2014. Ben began their career in public policy at HM Treasury as a Policy Adviser from 2010 to 2011 and held various positions at the Financial Services Authority. They also co-chair the European Public Policy Committee at AFME, starting in 2025. Ben holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of York, an MA in European Studies from King's College London, and an MEB in European Business from ESCP Business School.
