Rick Watson

Rick Watson is Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets, Membership and Events at AFME. He is on AFME’s Senior Management Team and leads staff in fixed income, equities, MiFID, Capital Markets Union and sustainable finance initiatives, as well as overseeing membership relations, over 30 annual events and the CRM team. Previously, Mr. Watson held a variety of senior fixed income and other product origination positions at FGIC, HSBC, Bear Stearns, UBS, Morgan Stanley and Freddie Mac. He has co-authored a book on securitisation, served on the EIOPA Stakeholder Group, and is a trustee of the East End Community Foundation.
