Eddy Bajic

Eddy Bajic serves as a Full Professor of Industrial Computer Sciences and Automation Sciences at Université de Lorraine since October 1998, where Eddy also holds the position of Mission Head for Education Development in Defence and National Security. With a PhD in Automatic Control and Computer Engineering obtained in 1988 and a Research Director degree earned in 1995 from Nancy University, Eddy has been actively involved in research as the Director at CRAN, focusing on RFID, WSN, and Internet of Things technologies. Eddy is an Independent Scientific Expert for the European Commission and a Scientific Expert for the French National Research Agency, contributing to the assessment of ICT research projects. Additionally, Eddy is a member of several standardization bodies, including the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 41 Committee on Internet of Things, and has held leadership roles such as Head of the Institute of Technology at Université de Lorraine and external assessor for the ERASMUS+ program.
