Sean Griffin

Sean Griffin is a seasoned senior leader with over 25 years of experience in engineering, complex systems acquisition, and program management within the realms of national security, including roles in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Defense (DoD). Currently serving as the Chief of Staff for Infrastructure Security at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Sean oversees a budget exceeding $250 million and leads a team of over 300 specialists in protecting critical infrastructure. Earlier in their career, Sean held multiple engineering and leadership positions within the DoD, specifically managing significant programs for the Navy, Marine Corps, and Army, including advanced defense systems. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. Based in Northern Virginia, Sean remains open to impactful opportunities in mission-driven organizations.
