Inspired by Nature, Backed by Science
Afraceuticals is at the forefront of harnessing Africa’s rich botanical heritage, developing natural, high-quality plant-based active ingredients, with proven safety and efficacy.
As a leading supplier of wild-harvested Pelargonium sidoides root extract, we provide an active ingredient trusted worldwide for the prevention and treatment of viral colds, flu, and respiratory tract infections. Our flagship product, PELAFORCE™ Pelargonium sidoides extract, is a medicinal botanical powder that meets European Monograph (EMA) standards and is backed by an Active Substance Master File (DMF - 3.2S), ensuring consistent quality and compliance.
At Afraceuticals, we believe that PLANT INTELLIGENCE™ is most effectively harnessed when traditional medicine and science are united. Rooted in sustainable African ethnopharmacology, we combine 21st-century scientific innovation with ancient indigenous knowledge to unlock the healing potential of Africa’s botanicals.
Our success is driven by collaborative partnerships with universities, NGOs, traditional healers, rural communities, and commercial entities both in South Africa and globally. This approach has helped us build a diverse, motivated, and conscientious team dedicated to ethical, transparent, and socially responsible business practices.
We are committed to creating positive socio-economic change within rural partner communities while protecting flora, fauna, and the environment through impactful conservation projects.
Afraceuticals is passionate about discovering, protecting, and developing botanical wisdom. We believe that Africa’s herbal resources hold the key to addressing major medical challenges, and we are poised to share the success of our African pharmacopeia with the world.
