Afrika Yetu is a Pan-African platform dedicated to the presentation and promotion of the rich African cultural heritage to diverse audiences through live performances, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives.  Afrika Yetu believes that by promoting African arts and culture through the presentation of music, dance, and education, it can enhance the appreciation of timeless values, build bridges of understanding, and strengthen ties between the people of Africa and the rest of the world.

Located at the Wood Street Galleries, in the heart of the Cultural District, the dynamic and unique Afrika Yetu offers 
African drum and dance workshops year round, performances in all genres, a yearly interactive rhythm festival, and many more social networking events for the community. Afrika Yetu is a known leader for experiencing theater, storytelling, dance, music, literature, amazing entertainment, while educating audiences about African heritage and culture.
