Brian Kennedy

Brian Kennedy serves as a Non Executive Director at African Rainbow Minerals Limited, Telkom, and AfriSam since October 2022, July 2022, and March 2020 respectively. Previously, Brian held prominent positions at Nedbank from February 2002 to June 2021, including Senior Advisor and Group Managing Executive of Nedbank Corporate and Investment Bank. Brian was Managing Director at BOE Merchant Bank from January 1996 to January 2002, where an executive directorship was attained in 2001. Earlier in the career, Brian was the Head of Specialised Finance at FirstCorp Merchant Bank and worked as an Engineer at Kentron Limited. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, an MBA, and an MSc(Eng) in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, where a BSc Eng (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering was also obtained.
