Vishala Panday is a seasoned Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) executive with over 23 years of experience in diverse senior leadership roles across the private and public sectors. Holding an LLB, BCom in Financial Management, and an MPhil in International Business, Vishala specializes in developing and implementing regulatory compliance programs tailored to the African context. Currently serving as Head of Compliance Services at Afriwise, Vishala focuses on innovative compliance solutions using data-driven methods and AI. Previously, Vishala has held key positions, including Head of Ethics and Compliance at Barloworld Equipment and Policy & Compliance Manager at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, where efforts centered on ethical standards and risk management.
