AFRO-ROAD Consults is a research and consulting firm dedicated to advancing solutions for displacement-affected communities (DACs) across the Horn of Africa, East Africa, and the Great Lakes region. We work at the intersection of research, policy, and practice to strengthen meaningful participation, improve livelihoods, and foster social cohesion within forced displacement contexts.

Our work focuses on generating evidence-based insights and delivering practical support to governments, NGOs, international organizations, and refugee-led initiatives. We support the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that enhance DACs’ employment opportunities, inclusive decision-making, and long-term resilience.

With a strong commitment to locally grounded knowledge and community-driven approaches, AFRO-ROAD Consults helps partners better understand complex displacement dynamics, amplify the voices of affected populations, and develop context-responsive solutions.
