Amit Puri

Amit Puri has a diverse range of work experience across various industries and roles. Amit is currently working as a Principal at AFRY since July 2023, where they provide strategic and operational advice to energy, forest, and bio-based industries. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at DFM Foods Limited from December 2022 to June 2023, leading the transformation and growth of the packed snacks manufacturing company. Amit also co-founded Jaw Experts in January 2021 and worked there until December 2022.

Before that, they held the position of Dy. General Manager - Strategy at JK Paper Ltd. from April 2016 to November 2020, where they focused on strategic planning. Amit also served as the Head of Corporate Planning at a leading Indian Auto Component Company from January 2015 to March 2016.

Earlier in their career, Amit held various roles at Usha International from May 2010 to January 2015, including Dy. Department Manager - Corporate Strategy, Senior Manager - Corporate Strategy, and Manager Corporate Strategy. Amit gained consulting expertise at Protiviti from May 2008 to March 2010, working as a Senior Consultant and Consultant in the Business Advisory Services division.

Amit began their career as a Software Engineer at Infosys from August 2003 to June 2006. Amit also worked as an Engineer at Punj Lloyd Limited from August 2002 to July 2003.

Amit Puri's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from Punjab Technical University, obtained from 1998 to 2002. Amit then pursued an MBA in Marketing from SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY/Symbiosis Institute of Business Management from 2006 to 2008. In 2017, they completed an Executive Education program in "Accelerating to Future Readiness" from Duke University. Later, in 2018, they attended Stanford DSchool for a Design Thinking program. Amit Puri recently completed an Executive Education program called the Leadership Development Program, focusing on Leadership & Strategy, from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2020.
