Anna Bengtsson

Anna Bengtsson has extensive experience in the energy and environmental sectors, currently serving as the Head of Transmission Lines Sweden at AFRY since July 2019. Prior to this role, Anna held various positions at ÅF from 2010, including Group Manager for Environmental Permits & Line Routing, focusing on project management and permit handling for energy projects, especially related to power lines and water activities. Previous roles also include Technical Consultant at Energo, Grontmij, Carl Bro Energikonsult, and Sycon Energikonsult, where responsibilities mirrored current expertise. Anna began a career in hydrology as a researcher at SMHI from 1998 to 2001, specializing in hydrological modeling. Anna earned a degree in Environmental and Water Technology from Uppsala University in 1998 and further education from Linköpings University.
