Barbara Cox

Barbara Cox is a highly accomplished geophysicist and senior consultant with extensive experience in offshore site investigations and subsurface project management, currently serving as a Senior Technical Consultant at AFRY since 2022. With over two decades of expertise in geophysical measurements and a strong technical background in seismic acquisition and interpretation, Barbara has successfully led complex projects in wind energy and geothermal development. Barbara's previous roles include managing subsurface teams at Aardyn B.V. and serving as a Principal Geophysicist at Shell, where significant advancements in monitoring technologies were implemented. Barbara holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in Physics from Delft University of Technology and a PhD in Geophysics from Stanford University.
