Benjamin Hammer

Benjamin Hammer is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Energy for the Asia-Pacific division at AFRY since March 2022, focusing on project management for developing economies. Prior to this role, Benjamin held positions at Western Power, where responsibilities included leading government relations and engagement on high-stakes projects. With extensive experience at Synergy, Benjamin contributed to policy reform and economic analysis in electricity and gas utilities. Previous roles also include significant contributions to the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA and Energy Policy WA, specializing in infrastructure, economics, and energy policy development. Benjamin holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Curtin University, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Public Health and Marketing from The University of Western Australia.
