Claus Jensen

Claus Jensen has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Claus is currently the Head of Finance at AFRY, an international engineering and advisory company. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Manager and Chief Accountant before transitioning to their role at AFRY in 2021. Before that, Claus worked at Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor as a Chief Accountant for 20 years, where they managed the Accounting Department and implemented various systems and processes to improve efficiency. Claus also held positions as a Chief Accountant at Scan Office A/S and Financial Controller at Lomax A/S. Claus began their career as a Regnskabsmedarbejder at KILROY and Synoptik.

Claus Jensen completed their Merkonom degree in Accounting at Forstædernes Handelsskole, Albertslund from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they also attended Forstædernes Handelsskole, Ballerup from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained a Højere Handelseksamen degree. The field of study for the latter degree is unspecified.
