David Gonzalez

David Gonzalez is a highly experienced Project Manager and Hydraulic Engineer specializing in hydropower projects. Currently employed at AFRY since November 2022, David previously served as Acting Team Leader and Hydraulic Expert at Royal HaskoningDHV, where technical assistance was provided for improving hydropower dam safety management for a World Bank-funded project. With extensive experience in dam rehabilitation and safety analysis, David has worked with various organizations including Egis, Castillo Consultores y Asociados, and CORPOELEC, contributing significantly to projects involving dam safety inspections, emergency action plans, and hydraulic engineering studies. David holds a Master's degree in Operation and Safety of Dams and Ponds from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and is pursuing another Master's degree in Hydraulic Engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
