David Speirs

David Speirs is a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Afry, currently involved in projects like the South Clyde Energy Centre EfW. They began their career as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor at Currie & Brown, progressing through various roles in notable companies like Bilfinger and BAE Systems, before taking on senior positions at Ian Allan Associates and Brockwell Energy. David has extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly in nuclear and oil and gas projects, showcasing a strong background in cost reporting and commercial management. They hold a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University and a BSc in Physics from the University of Strathclyde.
